I wrote this song while watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos, the entire series, in one night - hanging out with Lucy, if you know what I mean. The quotes at the end are one of the most important parts of this album. I heard this interview with Craig Hulet while I was working on September 18th in the early AM, and it destroyed me. Americans, and much of the rest of the world, have stopped paying attention and have been lied to for so long that what really happens in the world, verses what we think is happening, is practically opposite. Lybia is the latest example, and it's still in the news, so I want to see more people demanding that they stop lying to us and admit who's interests are really served these days. This song means the world to me, and I hope it means something to you soon - if it does, I want to meet you, and I want you to do what love - this world needs us now more than ever. Thank you for listening.
